I understand that when one donates to a policial candidate, it is monitored and made public.
Is that true?
If so, what an enemies list.

Seems like too much information for anyone to have, it could be badly misused.

Trump Jr. stands a very low, chance of being elected in 2024.
The American Public routinely has voted out the president’s party after 8 years in the White House. The only exception that I can recall was Bush I after 8 years of Reagan, and Dukakis was an exceptionally bad candidate.
Nor do they believe in dynasties. Which had RFK lived, he likely would have lost to Nixon anyway.
It’s a nice thought and maybe in 2028 he could run and win.

For federal elections, contributions over $200 are required to be reported to the Federal Elections Commission. Some campaigns report smaller donations.
You can go to the FEC website and look up candidates and contributors.

I believe that the dollar amount has to be above a certain threshold. Also, a privately formed pack could provide an extra layer of anonymity for some donors. (Think George Soros) You cannot have transparency without giving up some info. Of course, nothing stops you from making out a money order in the name of Hillary Clinton for $100, listing her occupation as seamstress or some such, and sending it in.

I sent a check to that address Dec 18, 2019, and it has not cleared my bank. Wonder if SS screens all mail to that address which causes a delay?
To: Ouderkirk
The committee is for President Trump, not Don, Jr.

Perhaps at this point in time it may seem like Don Jr. has a low chance of being the 2024 candidate but I have a feeling hell be groomed for it in the coming four years, so well see? If so, he will most auusredly be getting my vote.
To: Chickensoup
Yes, it is true.
Be aware the Demonrat Deep State already has everyone and everything that isn’t them on an enemy list.

I don;t know why I thought it was Don Jr.
