Do any Penna Freepers know anything about these candidates?
Republican primary for U.S. House Pennsylvania District 17
Sean Parnell (R)
Brian Thomsen (R)
Scott Timko (R)
What matters most is getting rid of that POS Lamb.
Coin political report rates it likely democrat. Hmmm, not so sure it isnt a toss up. Lamb had to run on a lot of Trump agenda and against being Pelosis stooge.
How do that end up?
Just saying.
I first thought the title was about the car :)
Too bad ones not named Slaughter.
Lamb was one of the “moderate” Dems who won the seat initially in a special election and then in a midterm in a district that was newly gerrymandered by the Dem-controlled Pennsylvania supreme court.
He ran promising to work with Trump to get things done for the district (which includes lots of Trump territory in western Pennsylvania, but also now includes a slice of Pittsburgh to dilute the conservative majority in the district). But of course he has loyally goosestepped to Pelosi’s leftist agenda and impeachment. Conservatives have a great chance to retake this seat in 2020 if they unite behind a good candidate.
Parnell is the best choice to take on Nancy Pelosi’s little Lamb. Lamb’s USMC Service consists of 14 short months as a JAG desk jockey in Okinawa as compared with multiple tours of duty in actual combat zones for Parnell.
