Even if you're not the victim of a cyber attack, every device you have is collecting data on you.
And everything you say, possibly. I think.
The bigger travesty is that I had to look up ND on the map.
I thought it was in the Midwest!
Anyone ever been there? Is it nice?
It’s right up against the Canadian border. Basically Canada South.
I’m from there. It IS in the midwest.
I thought there was a difference between mid west and upper mid west. :)
I guess not.
Yeah wow it’s up there.
Summer is beautiful in ND.
If it reaches the high 70s it really hot for them.
In the 80s and it’s thought there is a national heat wave and they’re all going to die.
Winter is what...7 months of the year.
Okay. I exaggerated a bit. It’s only a solid 6 months.
It does FEEL like 7 months because of the runoff from the melting snow!
They are currently trying different crops to keep up with weather changes.
Oh. They’d LOVE to get rid of their current refugees. Problem is, no one will take them.
Have a very close friend up there. Thankfully, we communicate daily. When I’m whining about it being in the 40s or 50s here in Texas she’ll send me pictures of her area with the snow and ice and the minus temperatures. LOL
I would investigate South Dakota.
I had No Idea!
I LOVE the winter and cold weather.
HATE the 80s and dread the 90s.
Was looking to move in PA in a few but ND sound more what I’m looking for.
Never even thought of it before.
I’m just surprised that you didn’t have any idea where North Dakota is. It has been there for quite a few years. Lots of people know about it.
Number one do not have Internet at your house
Number two have no ring Alexa or other door camera or any other listening devices in your home
Remember this simple acronym - I use it with my children all the time
Life as we know it existed on planet earth very very very long time without any of this crap
“””They are currently trying different crops to keep up with weather changes.””””””””””
The weather hasn’t changed. I lived there for 40 years. They never grew corn there. Now that they have new breeds you see corn everywhere.
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!
I never mind a good laugh at my expense and have no issue posting about my lack of knowledge in more than several arenas :)
I thought Vietnam was a relatively new country.
I never knew three was a Sino-Soviet border conflict.
I thought having 9 supreme court justices was in the constitution
I ALWAYS get excited learning something new or being corrected (which is also learning something new).
Find out how old Vietnam was, was one of the more fascinating things to learn.
And the list goes on
And a certain thrill out of finding out things here every day that I didn’t know.
Which for me happens a lot :)
Try western So. Dakota.
There was an excellent documentary about the place a few years ago called Fargo although a lot of the narrative takes place in Minnesota. They seem to have an affinity to wood chippers for some reason. :)
lol. Great scene :)
Thanks. You’re really starting from scratch when you don’t know a place well but I’m assuming looking at real estate i that area will give me an idea of the towns and other information.
Good Luck in your search dp.....the Dakotas are the sort of places you go to if you sign up for the witness protection program. :)
ROFLMAO!! May be extremes...Manhattan to open space.
I’ve become more of a loner as I’ve aged anyway :)
‘Right after I got here I ordered some spaghetti with marinara sauce and got egg noodles with ketchup.’
