He’s giving Beck way too much credit if he thinks anyone is going to attend or protest because of him.

He is still on the radio and I cannot believe it. I listen for 15 seconds before I want to vomit. Glen, get a life, a new radio voice, a new presentation, format, and do it by yourself. What is it with hosts who need a sidekick? It becomes a conversation among themselves, laughing and schmoozing while the real audience is not in the picture. No one wants to listen to a party on the radio. And his sanctimonious, interminable tangents drives me crazy. Nothing has changed—still unbearable shrillness to my ears.
Rush can do it by himself, as can Levin and a few others. In other shows with a single market, there seems to a requirement for a sidekick, usually a female, sometimes lacking any knowledge about anything, just there as "balance" for diversity.

5% chance this is actually about Glenn Beck, 95% chance this guy has a much bigger and more complicated event on his hands than he anticipated and a much smaller support structure and budget available to him and the size of the Glenn Beck event gave him an out.
It takes a lot more than passion to pull off a big outdoor festival-type event, and when you have to add the complications of firearms , horses, and a participant population with experience in successful events second guessing you along the way but not offering assistance, it has to be a relief to have someone else to blame for it falling through ahead of time.

I sponsored a Cheeto art contest but had to cancel to protect the artwork when I found out Beck had booked the same venue that weekend.

These are all dying because Confederate reenactors are now designated as Hate Groups.

Every year, around the anniversary of the battle, Gettysburg used to host a Civil War Relic Show, and also a Book Show on the same weekend. The place was always packed...bumper to bumper cars. They've since moved it to the fall. The anniversary reenactment was usually held around the same time, but it was held outside the actual city of Gettysburg. I don't understand why they've cancelled it since it's not actually in the city. Gettysburg also has an Outdoor Antique Show twice a year with dealers setting up tables up and down the main streets. This year's shows are scheduled for May 16th and September 26th. I used to go to the antique shows, and the Relic and Book shows every year, back in the early 90's.

Glenn Beck affected my listening habits while driving. He dominated conservative talk radio during the morning drive time, and since I was unable to stand any longer his Never-Trump rants, I started listening to books on CD. That Trump-hater is now all but gone from our local airwaves, but I still listen to books on CD.

Glenn Beck is he still on air?

cop out. cancelling over some clown like beck? and beck is an _ss to pick a time to pull some stunt and disrupt the usual timing of the annual reenactment.
went to gettysburg as a child and though i didn’t understand much it left an impression on me - made me thankful to know people of the past fought for me to have freedoms and all else that makes our country unique.
