The FBI believes the Saudi Arabian government almost certainly helps its citizens flee the country after they are accused of serious crimes, undermining the US judicial process, according to a newly declassified document obtained by The Oregonian/OregonLive.
The surreptitious action is done, in part, to spare the wealthy Persian Gulf kingdom embarrassment, the FBI said. Intelligence officials believe the flights from justice will continue without intervention by the American authorities.
Saudi officials are unlikely to alter this practice in the near term unless the US Government directly addresses this issue with (Saudi Arabia) and ties US cooperation on (Saudi) priorities to ceasing this activity," according to the FBI.
The details are contained in an intelligence bulletin dated Aug. 29. The FBI released the document Friday as part of a recent law pushed by U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and signed by President Donald Trump last month that requires the FBI to publicly disclose what it knows about the Saudi governments suspected role in helping its citizens avoid prosecution in the U.S.

Saudi gov’t almost certainly helps its citizens escape prosecution in US for serious crimes
9/11 comes to mind. I wonder how much was the payoff the George Bush? He allowed all the relatives and friends of Bin Laden leave the country while we little people were blocked from flying at all.
D1: FBI Leadership almost certainly helps its agents escape prosecution in US for serious crimes.

Um.... they couldnt do it without OUR government allowing it.

That’s a statement so stupid. Most countries are doing it. That’s one of functions of diplomacy.
It is easily countered though by putting foreigners under arrest pending trial.
Our Sunni government doesn’t care. Hell, half the time they help. See “only flights allowed after 9/11”. See “Boston bomber visited by Saudi Prince who left the country.
And, Bush43 let Bill Clinton fly back into the country at that time.
FBI corrupt to it’s core only helps democrats not to be prosecuted here in the US.
The FBI tampering with foreign policy.

So does Mexico and dozens of other countries. Your point is utterly meaningless Pro Iranian propaganda as usual.
The solution is for states to deny bail for Saudis who commit crimes that would subject them to prison terms.
“Your point is utterly meaningless”
Saudi Arabia is one of the most repressive countries on the planet. That’s not Iranian propaganda, it’s truth.
Try taking a bible to Saudi Arabia and showing it to people on the street. I will pay for the collect call if you want to call me from your Saudi prison cell.
