Fentanyl, a highly addictive synthetic drug primarily manufactured and shipped from China, is now blamed for nearly half of all overdose deaths in the United States. Mexican criminal groups like the Sinaloa cartel and the Cartel Jalisco New Generation are now heavily involved in smuggling the drug into the United States, according to experts.

Border Wall and immigration crackdowns are starting to limit the human trafficking profit center of the cartels business plans. Adapting will push more drugs at ports of entry and in between.

Well, on the bright side, maybe the Cartel folks will use the guns on each other, south of the border, and the druggies north of the border will overdose fatally and thereby both societies will be improved in the long run
Im actually shocked carfentanil hasnt been used in a terrorist attack, its lethal in such tiny amounts and seems to be readily available.

Don’t give up on these people. Many can give up their habit and go on to live productive lives. Been to church lately? You may see a lot of them there. And they aren’t pompous assholes.
I will always spot them two overdose events. After that if they are so determined to kill them selves let them go. As an aside, some of the worst people I ever met, I met in church.

Bidreadin, sadly, I know what you say is true. There are still a lot of good people out there so don’t give up on God’s children too easily.
