Several US soldiers were treated for concussion following last week's Iranian missile attack on two bases in Iraq, US Central Command revealed late Thursday.
Initially it was reported that were neither fatalities nor injuries, a claim backed up by US President Donald Trump.
However, Captain Bill Urban admitted: "While no US service members were killed in the January 8 Iranian attack on Al Asad Air base, several were treated for concussion symptoms from the blast and are still being assessed."
"As a standard procedure, all personnel in the vicinity of a blast are screened for traumatic brain injury, and if deemed appropriate, are transported to a higher level of care," he said.

I read this as being in a VAST abundance of caution. Perhaps over abundance?
Anything to label trump as a liar.
When you’re in the vicinity of a blast, your body reacts as if it were a rubber balloon filled with Jello and some hard objects (bones).
Which tells you that those missiles hit closer than they’re saying. The unmentioned subject was the CEP (Circle Error Probable) of Iranian missile technology and from what I have see, they came very close to hitting what they were aiming at.
Routine screening = hurt

Probably using similar standards as the NFL. Hopefully our guys will have no lasting damage. (Although I blame my concussion in fourth grade and then the time a horse kicked me in the head when I forget stuff my wife tells me.)

Well, this just got reported on ABC news, Martha Raddatz reporting. They did try to make it look like POTUS lied about the injuries....
Because this guy points out there was no missile defense he gets ripped on.

a) That’s nonsense. Our major FOBs have some form of IDF defense.
b) Anyone who thinks that technology is remotely infallible is clueless.
One of the she men on CBS this morning was screaming "Why are we just hearing about this now!!".
