The chart the Trump campaign should be 'plastering absolutely everywhere': Deirdre Bolton
Fox News ^ | January 16, 2020 | Matt London

There is one chart that President Donald Trump's re-election campaign should be "plastering absolutely everywhere," said Fox Business host Deirdre Bolton on Fox Nation's "Deep Dive" on Thursday.

The graph shows the average unemployment rate in the first 35 months of each president's first term going back five decades.

The average unemployment rate nearly three years into President Trump's administration is 3.9 percent -- a 50-year low. The next best employment statistic was recorded during President George W. Bush's first term at 5.5 percent.

That statistic coupled with the fact that the wages of American workers are rising for the first time in years presents a challenge for Democrats in the 2020 election, according to the "Deep Dive" panel.

"Workers' wages have lately been rising faster than the salaries of their bosses. It pretty much knocks out the inequality argument. ... It appears the Trump era has been reducing [income inequality]," said James Freeman, the assistant editor of The Wall Street Journal's editorial page.

"The first time it happened was September 2018," added Fox Business host Charles Payne, remarking on this dynamic between workers' and supervisors' wages. "And it's happened every single month, except one, were blue-collar workers', not supervisory workers', wages have grown faster than their supervisors'. It's amazing."

Better headline:

"The chart the Trump campaign should screenshot while playing our video, crop out the rest of the window, save as a jpg and then 'plaster absolutely everywhere'.

I like THIS chart too.. shows territory held by ISIS in Iraq and Syria, Obama vs. Trump.

TOP CHART shows ISIS territory as of March 2017 shown in RED (2 months after OBAMA left office) versus BOTTOM CHART showing ISIS territory reduced to only residual/remnants shown in GRAY as of 2019 (Trump's 3rd year in office)

Haha...

Followed a flame war on an MSNBC thread a few days ago. Leftists blaming Trump for all the violence in the mideast, immigration woes, etc...

When someone would counter with the fact that he inherited all those from the Obama administration, the lefty said “no way.”

When asked about record low unemployment, the lefty was like “Oh, yeah. Well that Trump DID inherit from Obama.”

Haha... Likely this chart will elicit the same reaction by many, unfortunately.

Surprised it was that high under Reagan. Must have been the Carter malaise.

First of all, I am NOT using a phone. Secondly, I guarantee you that most viewing your post are not doing so on a 27" screen!

All besides the point. I was just trying to help and I do appreciate your worthy post!

Congress was controlled by the Democrats. Establishment Republicans in Congress were more hostile to Reagan in Congress than they are to Trump... After Reagan won re-election, then those establishment Republicans suddenly claimed to be establishment Republicans, even while still pushing the wrong agenda.

It took Reagan time to work out the Grand Compromise with Speaker Dem Tip O Neil. In the Grand Compromise, Reagan got his victory over the USSR and his tax cut to become effective in the future.

In quid pro quo, the Dems got the ability to spend like drunken.... well like drunken Democrats....which some like Ted Kennedy took literally.

Obamas is wrong. He designated that those who stopped looking for jobs were not included in the unemployment statistics. What was Obamas true unemployment rate after 35 months - unadjusted?
