That won’t work. A president has to be convicted by the Senate before they can either remove him from office or prevent him from holding office.

But, for the sake of debate, let’s assume he is removed from office. VP Pence becomes President.
For President Pence to have a VP in office, his selection would have to get a 50% + 1 majority in both houses. As long as Dems are in the majority in the House, he will never get a 50% + 1 vote in the House.
So, if the House Dems then impeach Pence, and somehow the Senate removes him from office, Nancy Pelosi becomes President.
In other words, she would actually be SECOND in line, not 3rd.
