“Preseason is over,” Kauffmann said. “The Democratic race got real tonight, and these candidates started to realize that only one of them is leaving Iowa with a W.”
Having only six candidates on stage means: “They have the time to make their points in a way that they haven’t before.”
The debate “definitely was more combative than it has been” and part of that was “the moderators really trying to go out of their way to draw confrontation.”

Van Jones was less than impressed post debate because there ain’t no “people of color” remaining. Surprised? Not me.
Pasty old white lady will drop out next and be refunding donations over to people that will now switch to Biden and that crazy, arm flailing old Yankee man from Vermont - Sanders is his name I guess but perhaps Shylock is more apt. Something is seriously wrong with that old fart.
What happened to the little hottie Tulsi Gabbard? I was all set to turn on The debate and ogle her rack for a couple hours and WHAT????? Not there!

The general reaction to the Democratic debates is "meh".
Lesser losers: Democrats who are not nominated.
Big loser: The Democrat who gets nominated.
Winner: Trump.

Winner: Trump.
Anyone who goes up against Trump, and loses spectacularly, is finished in national politics. Currently, Trump is very likely to win against any of the nominees. It would make sense for the Dems to nominate somebody who is old and ready to retire anyway.
