Why did Trent Lott a republican push thru Dem Clinton trial in record speed but Mitch is planning a anal exam of Trump for 2 months for the Dem media to enjoy ?

Bill Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998. His trial began in the first week of January 1999, and lasted until February 12th.

I don't know what you mean by "record time." There was only one other impeachment trial before that for a U.S. President, and that lasted about three months. In Clinton's case, there were absolutely NO facts in dispute ... and the trial STILL took more than a month.
