At least since then. I seem to remember that his wife was photographed lying on the floor of Studio 54, in a drunken/drugged stupor, with her skirt hiked up and no panties on. You’d think that even in the Seventies, this would’ve been a big deal, for the wife of a prime minister to be photographed thusly. Apparently not, the rot was already well set in.

Very true.

Some people even put it the day Canada changed flags. Nothing like breaking from the nation’s unifying national legends and symbol in one go.
