As you review this story keep in the back of your mind that U.S. DC Attorney Jessie Liu has been recently moved to head the Financial Crimes Division of the Treasury Department.
CTH noted last year when John Fry, an intelligence analyst with the IRSs law enforcement arm, was arrested that something more was happening in the background of his case and the DOJ case against Natalie Sours-Edwards. Today Ms. Sours-Edwards pleads guilty to downloading & distributing the financial records of people connected to the Trump orbit.
You might remember back in May 2018 when sketchy porn lawyer Michael Avenetti was releasing U.S. Treasury notifications on Michael Cohen received from an unknown source within the Treasury Department [See Here]. You might also remember when New Yorkers Ronan Farrow wrote a sympathetic article after talking to the leaking treasury official [See Here]. As a result the Treasury Inspector General began an investigation.
(VIA DOJ) Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards Illegally Repeatedly Transmitted SARs and Other Sensitive Government Information To A Reporter Resulting In Approximately 12 News Articles Over 1-Year Period.
Ms. Sours-Edwards, a former senior adviser at the Treasury Departments Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), pled guilty today to conspiring to unlawfully disclose Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
Beginning in approximately October 2017, and lasting until her arrest in October 2018, EDWARDS agreed to and did unlawfully disclose numerous SARs to a reporter (Reporter-1), the substance of which were published over the course of approximately 12 articles by a news organization for which Reporter-1 worked (News Organization-1).
The illegally disclosed SARs pertained to, among other things, Paul Manafort, Richard Gates, the Russian Embassy, Maria Butina, and Prevezon Alexander.
EDWARDS had access to each of the pertinent SARs and saved them along with thousands of other files ..

The pervasive leaking in our (once) trusted federal agencies is a strong indication that there is no fear whatsoever of being held accountable DC. Until such time as it is the rampant corruption and political spying will continue unabated.
DC is a justice free zone.
One HAS to ponder this: “Are there enough cells - do we have the prison capacity - to house the criminals that infested the Ophonybama/Biden administration?”
AND, will ANY of the POOBAHS (Ophonybama, Biden, Clinton, Kerry, Comey, Jarrett, Holder, Lerner, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Rosenstein, Dingy Harry Reid, Mueller’s gang of 19, and MANY others) be properly and lawfully investigated? Indicted? Brought to trial? Convicted? Imprisoned?
There should be a “Nurenburg” type of investigation and trial for these (and ANY other) guilty parties involved in the multiple scandals and criminal activities!
Surely the political crimes committed against the citizens AND the Constitution of the United States by this nefarious group of LIEberal miscreants are on par with war crimes!
One HAS to wonder if the RICO statutes apply in respect of the ENTIRE 8 years the Ophonybama Crime Syndicate was running the USA!
Who higher up over saw the releases.
Whoops!
Forgot Peter Strzok and Lisa Page!
Who else?
Did she flip, or is she being paid to bend over and take it?
I assume the later.
Perhaps somewhere in a secure numbered bank account far away, a small fortune awaits Natalie Mayflower Sours Edwards after she finishes serving her anticipated sentence.
If she gets just a slap on the wrist? You can bet she has flipped. And that would have a lot of swamp creatures very nervous. And so she will “swerve” her sentence under the vaunted FBI Shitness protection pogrom.
Its really hard to tell WTF is going on.
I bet she did it for nothing, did for the cause ! Very likely a true anti-Trump believer.
I bet she did it for nothing, did for the cause ! >>>>>>>>>>>
You may be right, but I think not since she is from Treasury.
Why do you think that?
Leftwing nuts can’t be at Treasury?
In the first Gulf War (1991) there was a Treasury economist who went to Baghdad to show his ( I think I remember it right as a him!) his opposition to the war & his solidarity with Saddam. He volunteered to be a human shield. I think he was fired when he got back but its quite possible the Treasury Employee’s Union sued and got him his job back. Traditionally the USG is quite cowardly when it comes to employee discipline & lawsuits.
Of course they can be anywhere. They even can hide in your mirror is you’re not careful.
That “My Pillow guy” is in my mirror\medicine cabinet.
