Bloomberg has a history of short-circuiting the traditional political process and winning. The hallmarks of his victorious mayoral races in New York City were an overwhelming financial advantage, a blizzard of ads that saturated the airwaves, piecing together a disparate coalition, and little personal contact with voters.

Yes, the dems will forgive anything.
Just like, on the flip side of the coin, they don’t really hate Trump’s tweets or his style. You could have given to Trump Buttgeig’s exact style and demeanor and they’d have attacked it too.
The only thing that really matters is which side they are on. For the dems, all is forgiven. For the republicans, all is bad.

Mark Green was a terrible candidate and Guiliani backed Bloomberg. It’s not that difficult to see how he was first elected.
