[Alberta's Child]

A business associate of mine serves on the governing board of a national industry organization. They just had their annual conference in San Francisco, and he told me three things about it:

1. They couldn’t believe how awful the place is. The stories you read about the terrible conditions on the streets actually make SF look BETTER than it really is.

2. This organization will never be holding one of its events anywhere in California anytime soon.

3. Among the attendees who spoke to my friend about it, there was pretty much a unanimous consensus that NOBODY would be going back to SF again.

The danger is the Federal government bailing out San Francisco. But California is rolling money, we are told.
