Nail art in New York can start around $50 and go up to $500 depending on the polish type, number of nails and intricacy of the design. Its also incredibly time-consuming, with some looks taking hours to complete.

The intersection of too much money, too much time, and too much social media preening.

I have to keep my nails short so as to get the dirt out from under them... .alas another missed opportunity.
You know, I can see solid and dark colors on guys that are goth and metal, that’s fine. I’ll even admit to using a clear coat “diamond” hardener on my nails, cause they are brittle, shred easily, and I work with stuff that damages nails. But fruity art? No Thank you.
I occasionally sport “nail art”.
When I hit my finger with a hammer by mistake and get a nice bruise under the nail.
It’s free and lasts a long time.
I guess I’m hip and didn’t know it.
Any youngins that don’t know what a hammer is, feel free to PM me and I’ll adult-splain it to you.
LOL!!!!!!
I started wrestling in elementary school. At any meet or tournament, every weigh-in was accompanied by a fingernail inspection to make sure one wouldn’t/couldn’t claw one’s opponent. I started trimming my nails as short as I could back then, and have done so every since. Anything longer than that, just doesn’t feel right.
Frivolous, expensive stuff like this wouldn’t exist, if life under President Trump were so bad, as liberals say.
I don’t recall stories like this, under Obama’s rotten economy, with over 9% unemployment.
But toxic mascukinity is what is driving the fashion consumerist driven global warming....
Nail Art,
Wonderful!
By their fingernails shall ye know them.

Anytime I see a man with long fingernails I know he doesn’t do much work.
