Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Monday tore into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., just days after the speaker backed down from her refusal to send the articles of impeachment against President Trump to the Senate, calling Pelosis delay a strange gambit that produced absolutely nothing.
During a speech on the Senate floor, McConnell chastised Pelosi for ending what he called her one-woman blockade and questioned her strategy for holding off sending the articles to the Senate.
The House in December voted to impeach Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress for matters relating to his controversial July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the subsequent House inquiry.
Pelosi had held up sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate, citing concerns about McConnells objectivity and the lack of ability to call witnesses to testify in the trial in hopes of winning concessions from Republicans. But McConnell refused to give in.

Pelosi also warned Sunday that senators will pay a price if they block new witness testimony with a trial that Americans perceive as a cover-up for Trump's actions.Americans perceive that you're a senile drunk.

McConnell “crows?” The naturalism is way off base — Sen. Yertle is a tortoise, not a rooster. Sheesh.

Do Democrats ever crow in titles of the MSM? No. The word "crow" is hard to type when you're carrying buckets of water for the Democrats in both hands...

Note that the snarky tone of this throw-away article is a product of Fox News.

Whoa let’s not go crazy here. Nothing has happened yet. I WILL be impressed if Mitch prevents 4 GOP Senators from siding with the rats and giving them what they want.

Joe McCarthy said the delay was about tying Sen Sanders up in the trial so as to impact the nomination process and give an advantage to Sanders.
They had to get rid of Clinton’s super-delegates and Sanders is leading in Iowa.

Yeah I noticed that too. Note the “Mitch Crows” bit. Pelosi is shredding a century and a half a precedent and protocol but Mitch is the petulant one.

Pelosi is and has been full of crap all along, which is apropos, because the impeachment is a hoax. Everyone who voted in favor of it is, at best, unfit for office.

Yup. Put this soap opera behind us with a dismissal. Indict the bad actors and then execute them on public tv.

Trump did say during his campaign that he would teach the Republicans to win.
Some are slow learners but nice to see them come along eventually.
