Perhaps it was done to welcome the former Royal Couple to Canada.
Not great. Not terrible.
Later in the morning and afternoon, municipalities across the GTA likely reported extremely high water usage, taxing municipal water treatment plants. Electricity usage also likely peaked. The cause? Millions of residents of the ‘Golden Horseshoe’ were washing out their soiled undies, all at the same time.
Well done, Ontario Hydro!

Funny that Coal Plants don’t need early warning evac systems. Must be because nuclear plants are so safe it will take everyone by surprise...
One of those nuclear powered “hydro” plants. They call electric service hydro up there. Pretty funny.
