Almost every story favorable to her that has been published over the last few days has been denied by the subjects, i.e., Oprah and the Obamas have denied advising these two, and Gayle King denied an agreement for an interview. Elton John sort of denied his involvement with their plans. Serena Williams said “no comment,” and their other A-list “friends” have gone silent. It looks like everyone wants to keep their distance, at least publicly.

Also seeing they are blaming Victoria Beckham for leaking their plans and why they had to come forward faster.
There is a previous dustup with Beckham that lead to problems.
Looks like the joint statement did not smooth over the waters. “Bully” William didn’t go to the lunch. Showed up right before the meeting.
