The author of the essay is Douglas Murray who wrote the book "The Strange Death of Europe" which is essentially anti-immigration. He often appeared with Scruton to support a more modest immigration plan and oppose the construction of hideous modern architecture.

Murray also helped Scruton get his reputation back after Scruton was subjected to a hatchet job by George Eaton of The New Statesman. So Murray is something of a hero too, although he is openly gay. I guess he fears being thrown from the top of the Tower of London when the Muzzies take charge.

Before this became news to me I was reading Ed Feser's blog about Scruton's The Last Superstition. Feser writes, "...things are only going to get worse. Much much worse. Brace yourselves."
