Or getting bumped off by a deceived and pissed off would be suitor.
Not funny, Joe.
My daughter and my youngest son were both diagnosed with non-classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia, an incurable genetic defect of their endocrine systems. There are over 108 variants of this defect.
For my youngest son, it resulted in premature bone maturation, stunting his growth, and sterility. This smart, funny, loving, godly child did nothing to deserve this.
For my daughter, it is much worse. She suffers from hyperandrogenism, the masculinizing of her body due to excess hormone production, gender dysphoria (free floating adrenal androgens are attaching to the adrenal receptors in her brain and being recognized as testosterone), and a severe, unshakable depression. We have spent thousands on doctors trying to figure out why this was happening to her. I had to have her committed for a week at one point because she was suicidal.
My child has won awards for art and engineering, scored in the 99th percentile on her STARR exams, has a purple belt in martial arts, enjoys archery and cooking, rescues animals, and has been the perfect daughter. She is an incredibly talented, loving person with a highly tuned moral compass who wonders why God has abandoned her.
Not every trans person is an attention seeking snowflake, even though the media holds them up as the face of the trans movement. Most true trans, like my daughter, don’t want to be judged by something they can’t control.
So no, it is NOT a good thing. Trans persons need prayers, not scorn, because only God can fix it.
