Just hours after publishing giant HarperCollins unveiled the cover and title of the upcoming investigative bombshell book Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite on Thursday, the book rocketed from #822,128 to #3 on Amazon. The book doesn’t hit bookstores until January 21.
Authored by Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer, Profiles in Corruption is said to contain explosive revelations on leading progressives, including Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Sherrod Brown, Eric Garcetti, Amy Klobuchar, and others. As Breitbart News reported on Thursday, sources close to the publisher say the book’s research findings will “upend official Washington.” Among these are new reporting about how five members of the Biden family—the “Biden Five”—siphoned “tens of millions of dollars” in taxpayer money and guaranteed loans. Hunter Biden is just “the tip of the iceberg,” said the source.
A five-time New York Times bestselling author, Schweizer has established a reputation for unearthing major national political scandals.
In 2018, Schweizer’s New York Times #1 bestseller Secret Empires uncovered how Joe and Hunter Biden flew aboard Air Force Two to China in 2013, only to see Hunter’s firm score a $1.5 billion deal ten days later with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China. The book also blew the lid off the Biden-Burisma scandal in Ukraine, wherein Hunter Biden made up to $83,000 a month with Ukrainian energy giant Burisma as his father led U.S.-Ukraine policy while vice president.

Peter Schweitzer is a damned good reporter. I’ve read most of his books.
I’m rather disgusted at some of the comments on this thread disparaging his work.
As a retired reporter/editor, one thing I know is that you can’t predict what kind of impact your stories will have. You just exercise your best news judgement, put the facts out there, and let the chips fall where they may.
It’s not Schweitzer’s fault that his exposes haven’t landed any deserving corruptocrats in prison.
Schweitzer is a good man and great journalist.
He is doing what a reporter should do.
It is a sad statement that his information is dismissed, ignored or denigrated.

Doubtful. A man rarely can live a life steeped in corruption and his wife remain clueless, especially when the corruption results in tons of income that doesn’t correlate with the job/position. Plus, the whole family is corrupt, so she must’ve noticed that, too. At best, she looked the other way; at worst, she’s knee deep.
I’ll buy it to support Schweizer’s efforts. Even if five people are “converted” by the info he provides, I think it’s worth it.
You want the author to arrest, try, and imprison them too? I think this kind of investigative transparency deserves attention, so I just ordered my copy. Remember the Swift Boat Veterans? Probably the number one reason why we didn't have a President John Kerry.
