Many, include myself bought a Corvette for track use and spirited driving mountain twisties like the Blue Ridge Parkway and Tail of the Dragon. Corvette owners don’t like highway travel much since they are cop magnets.

As for fuel economy, my 2015 Z51 Stingray gets around 24mpg and 6 on the track like Thunderhill in Willows, CA.

So SUV’s caused the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere from .0037 to .004%?

Insects and fish are responsible for most CO2 production. Termite breathing alone generates 10 times more CO2 than all fossil fuel sources combined. Obviously these termites should be capped. A good green job is gluing tiny MAGA caps on termites all day. It would keep all our useless breathers occupied rather than out causing trouble.

Interesting. Where can one verify this?

The only reason the major manufacturers have any interest in hybrids and battery-powered cars is that gives them more breathing room to sell gas-guzzling SUVs and still meet the Corporate Average Fuel Economy reg, which is where the big profits are.

http://iloveco2.com/termites-emit-ten-times-more-co2-than/

Earth's crust contains 46.6 percent oxygen by weight. Instead of removing CO2 from the air via fertilizing saltwater algae, we could instead release more oxygen into the air, thereby reducing the percent CO2, as well as boosting the performance of all our SUVs.

SUV’s are all over the place. Look at the parking lots of stores. The liberals response is to make the parking slots only for small cars....

LOL! You don’t have explain it to me, I just had never heard about the termites before. Heck, the average “scientist” doesn’t even know that CO2 is denser than air (higher molecular weight, 44 vs. 29) and therefore sinks to the ground where the plants can process it! Green house gas my patootie!

Heck, if it took ten minutes to fill a gas tank, most people would find that unacceptable.

Ah, good ol' 1973 Suburban.
