My guess is the Iranian puppets working in the Iraqi government have no idea what happened, so they’re looking for scapegoats. I pity whomever gets picked.

Good grief, the Prime Minister, Abdul Mahdi invited him and the Hezbollah reps to Baghdad. It was to be a state visit.
...........
Lots of people knew he was coming that night by commercial aircraft.
...............
The local PMU communications director went to pick him up and we knew when and where.
.............
Baghdad is a gossip festival.

“Exclusive: Informants in Iraq, Syria helped U.S. kill Iran’s Soleimani”

What? No names? No addresses?

Members of the leftstream media all colluded to prop up the Russia hoax rather than doing any real journalism. They conspired to hide the identity of the whistleleaker. But they will aid and abet our enemies any chance they get. I hope I live to see the day these domestic enemies hang from lampposts.

Could just as well be disinformation we’re feeding to Reuters to get the bad-guys fighting among one another. We could have been tracking him directly; we could have a mole (or moles) in Tehran; hell, maybe Khamenei himself told us because Soleimani was threatening his rule.

This was a no brainer. You don’t have reapers on standby taking a kill shot 2 minutes after getting off a plane and into a car unless you got onsite human intelligence assets ready to call it in.

Well, they said they got it from the Iraqi official heading the probe who also happens to be an underling of the militia umbrella group whose official went to pick up Suleiman and got killed too.

Sounds like an Iranian version of Mueller’s team.

Iranian General Qassem Soleimani arrived at the Damascus airport in a vehicle with dark-tinted glass.... The passenger flight would be Soleimani’s last.

Uh, well, did he arrive at the airport in a car or in a plane?

Generally speaking, airplanes are not known as 'vehicles,' but as aircraft.

If he'd arrived in an aircraft and was killed on a subsequent flight, then the initial arrival could not have been his last flight.

It's a safe bet the drone was on standby circling the area when his plane arrived. We knew what plane he was taking before he boarded. Out of courtesy for the innocent civilians, we waited until his little convoy was clear of potential collateral damage. Nice shot!

Wasn’t there a briefing with CONgress yesterday!!!

Yes, but the way Pelosi complained about it, I don’t think Trump shared such details with them. He said something to the effect of not wanting to reveal their sources and methods. He knows it would go straight to the Democrats’ Iranian friends.

On the news this morning, the WH said the military asked the president to hold releasing many details as strategically important.

I agree. I meant that they probably had a spotter to verify the convoy. I would think that the Reaper had to stand off for some distance so it didn’t get into the airport airspace.

How does the media get this information? This gets people killed, people who are helping us. The article identifies the people involved and undoubtedly, some of those people were involved in the intelligence gathering. Everybody knows we had to have had some informants and sources to track and carry out the mission. For the sake of those who help us, details should not be leaked or published.

Much media would hire a Judas and publish the location of Christ for soldiers looking to arrest Him.

Gee, maybe al-Reuters can get to the bottom of this *murder*. /s At the very least, they can out a bunch of anti-terrorist informants. Then maybe find success in their propaganda campaign for unfettered immigration and the imposition of shariah.
