And aluminum? The mining itself is a destructive and toxic nightmare from which riparian communities will not awaken in anything but geologic time.
WTH does that even mean?

It would take thousands and thousands of years for a green weenie tribe wiping their butts with leaves and living off of the land to live where aluminum was once mined.

It means that aluminum (really bauxite) mining can really destroy river ecosystems, to the point that it can take tens of thousands of years for an affected river to recover.

Solar panels and wind turbines arent made out of nothing.
...
The same goes for fossil fuel and nuclear power plants.

...that renewable energy is a government-backed hoax that enriches big corporations -- and green energy investors like Al Gore -- at the expense of taxpayers and the environment. This is a nutball organization. If you're going to seize on this statement as the truth you also have to accept their basic premise that electrical production of any kind is unsustainable and destructive.
"The only truly green sources of power come from the earth and dont require destruction. By that, we are talking about photosynthesis and muscle power. Permaculture, as well as other traditional subsistence methods such as hunting, animal husbandry, fishing, and gathering, must be the foundations of any future sustainable culture; otherwise any claims to being green will be falsehoods."
I'm not sure these are the guys we want to point to as an authority.
