The video you cite is clearly marked in the upper right hand corner as being shot in “2014”. Other commenters point out that it appears to be video of a Russian SAM downing a Ukranian airliner from 6 years ago.
Al Hadath is apparently not a reliable (a Saudi funded anti-Iranian) source. So until we know more, we should withhold judgment.
Copy and thanks. I try to be careful, but this one clearly got me. I still strongly suspect it was a SAM, but you are right and we all (me too) should wait for more info.
The black box will tell all, if it is at all recovered.Apparently the Hadjis have it and are unwilling to part with it. Would make sense if they did shoot the aircraft down.
