The camels are an invasive species.

It is not much different then boa or iguana hunts in Florida.

Although probably a little less complicated as camels do not lay eggs that will hatch even if you kill the parents.

The US imported camels as well back in the 1800's but they either died or were killed by the local tribes.

There are wild camels out in the desert in NV and NM.
