Where did you read that? I would think that being at the business end of a HellFire missile when it explodes would pretty much reduce any protoplasm to simple molecules.
But it is well known that the human body can take quite a licking. They dropped a missile on some imam in a wheel chair a few years ago and while he was most assuredly dead, there was enough left to identify him.
