Nunes,Durham,Barr and others have to learn quickly: in these volatile times with Dems siding with the Iranian enemy, many good people are no longer going to passively tolerate window dressing investigations and feel-good soundbites.
The bad guys have to be indicted and punished under equal justice. Soon.
Respect for the justice system is in tatters.
Respect for the intelligence community is already gone.
The era of “Well, old Bill & Hillary got off again. No formal charges and two witnesses coincidentally died. What’s on TV tonight?” has ended.
Like the third driver waiting at the red light as first and second cars drive away past “No Turn On Red.” sign, we are no longer little kids taught to obey the rules even though our classmate cheats.
Equal justice for all.
While I share your sentiments I am not optimistic that any semblance of real justice will ever be restored. There is massive corruption in our government that isn’t going to be cleaned up anytime soon, if ever. Barr and Durham deserve credit for their work but they are just ripples in a vast ocean of corruption.
A sweeping dragnet rounding up the entire cabal of bad guys and putting them on trial is just not a realistic scenario. Washington would never tolerate that kind of mass punishment and humiliation. The Swamp protects the Swamp.
Yes, that is what is in the Constitution. Equal for all.

Respect for the law, and thus faith in the system, is dying - quickly. If the feds don’t fix this very, very quickly, then we’re going to become a Turd World country with nice cars and manicured lawns (for a while, then it will deteriorate). Our system requires trust which, in turn, requires a standard of justice that needs no explanation because it is fair on its face.
