Marine Corps senior leaders have begun to express cautious openness to the idea of making the service's boot camps fully co-ed. But if Congress has its way, the service may be pushed toward full integration sooner than expected.
The final conference version of the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act includes a provision that would require the service to integrate both its East Coast and West Coast entry-level training facilities within the next eight years.

Sick. They are ruining the Marine corps. It will completely destroy something special in America. The Marine leadership is already down the tubes from the looks of the current crop of Generals. But the grunts have bravely held on.

This is a serious problem, but when I was a Marine, I don’t think I would have complained about taking a shower with the women (at least if the women looked anything like the Starship Troopers Marines). Marine boot camp barracks are open bay sleeping and showers, this ain’t the Air Force.
Sounds like a recipe to have recruits on maternal duty before they are even out of boot camp to me...

Service-wide physical tests are the same for men and women, though passing scores differ. Men in the youngest age group must complete four pull-ups to pass the physical fitness test. Women are required to complete one.
However, physical screening tests for specific jobs within the corps, such as the infantry, require the same passing score for men or women.

This whole experiment seems to be so obviously wrong that I can’t figure out how big shots and experts go along with it.
“This one’s for fighting, this one’s for fun” Are the girls supposed to still grab their nonexistent penises, or their boobs, or what? Or are men supposed to die and fight with no naughty mentioning of what makes them male?
