Members of the Assembly and the Senate are elected by district. In recent years there has been a large population increase in Northern Virginia, driven by vast expansion of DC (government employees, contractors, lobbyists, people servicing all these), plus masses of government retirees, and immigrants.
90% (wild guess) of these settlers are Dems, and large percentages do indeed derive their living from government. High density areas are inherently more efficient for rounding up votes, broadcasting ads for candidates and issues, cheating, etc. The state’s Republican Party is moribund, and shows little fire for figuring out how to campaign in rural areas where R’s dominate. Hopefully this 2ndA crisis will energize conservatives, but there needs to be organization and candidate development to take advantage of it.
I am convinced the 'Rats have built in vote fraud (motor voter, etc.), in spite of vote ID requirements in VA. The 'Rat Party is synonymous with waste, fraud and corruption.
DemoKKKrats have no God, but power, and they want to be the God of your life.
Maybe they should take all the guns from Arlington County, Falls Church and Fairfax County first. That should help crime in that area.
