The problem here is that we pretty clearly had someone with access to Soleimani who gave us the information as to exactly when and where he would be. You can bet that the Iranian's are trying very hard to figure out exactly who that was. Any additional information we give will only help that search.
Alternatively, if it was electronic intelligence rather than human intelligence, the same thing applies. They'll look for the means/methods of how his location were communicated electronically to figure our how the intercept may have occurred. And the more information we release regarding his specific plans for attack, the more they'll be able to narrow down exactly what we are accessing to give us that information.

Those are good points, but every report I’ve seen about that guy SoulMan seems to suggest that he was basically traveling in plain sight for years.

And, then, who would EVER want to help us in the future? I agree, NO information of even the slightest kind should ever be released!
