Trump represents a clear policy change for the good. "Death to America" and "The USA is the great satan" are golden oldies at this point and have never served as provocation in the past. Now is different and it will be interesting to see how this develops.
I can still remember how the media built up the "battle hardened" Iraqi army as a substantial foe to the US, and we went through them easier than ISIS did.

The networks will likely be reporting this as “new” and “Trump’s fault, when the fact is that Iran’s parliament and its leaders in public displays have presented these chants numerous times since 1979.
