Forgive me for that post.
I’m going through a Severe mid life crisis at 51 and I like to make believe I’m closer to 30 than 70!!!
Do people here really think I bought a Dodge Challenger at 50 just because I love it!?! :)
You get that queasy feeling that you didn’t accomplish nearly as much as you thought you were gonna and then you dive hear first into denial :)
If you didn’t consider you a great guy and pretty dam sharp, I would not send this post to you.
i ENVY men in their 60s and 70s who are comfortable in what they have done and look forward to what they’ve yet to do
What I did is buy a cherry red Mustang and it helped some..
I was just doing a tongue-in-cheek comment.
Wish I remembered what 51 felt like.
My Dad taught me that respect for one’s elders was conditional on them returning some semblance of respect so I don’t think getting old and not kicking the old oak bucket are blanket reasons for being respected.
We started out a bit rocky way back when but I have come to like you and your points of view..too bad we’ll likely never meet.
