In 2011 tried a fiance’ visa, it was denied because “it is not viable they she will remain in the USA”, and they denied 3 tourist visas because they didn’t believe she would return to Thailand. Classic Catch 22.

So I said F it, quit work and moved to Thailand in 2011, fairly easy to get a retirement visa. Was fat, dumb and happy there then God gifted us a daughter in 2013 and we want her educated in the USA (Catholic School).

Applied for a tourist visa in 2017 and surprise, surprise surprise it was approved. Moved here and in Dec 2018 started the sponsorship visa. I have been approved as a sponsor and now they have been reviewing her paperwork since Aug. They sent a letter wanting more evidence, a 693 physical, but they said don’t send it to them while they decide if an interview is required.

In the mean time we leave the USA every 6 months to reset her tourist visa.
