When I was a kid in boarding school, it became a big thing to raid squirrel nests and bring young squirrels into the dorm as pets.

Those little things were so dang cute.

I know they can be real pests, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart for them.

Now fruitcake! Nobody, not one kid had a little baby fruitcake for a pet.

No love there...
