A senior military official in Iran threatened an attack on some 35 American targets, including destroyers and warships near the Persian Gulf Friday night, promising to seek revenge for the killing of Gen. Qassem Soleimani, according to a report.
The latest threat against the U.S. came late Friday night from senior Revolutionary Guards commander Gen. Gholamali Abuhamzeh, a day after top Iranian military general Soleimani was wiped out by an airstrike at Baghdad International Airport.

Somebody just gave out their location. Not a smart move.
Iranians are stupid.
But they are not so stupid as directly attack an American warship at sea.
Bluster.
I gotta ask. During the disastrous hostage rescue attempt, did the fledgling Delta force get stranded in Tehran and have to walk out?
I was thinking the same thing. Those little piss ant patrol boats they are so proud of can be taken out in about 5 seconds, once the kill order is given...in fact, their entire Navy might take an afternoon.
Who in Hollywood will grovel to Iran today?
With what?
Am surprised Iran hasn’t invited their Hollywood allies over to serve as human shields.
Thats the what the Japanese did at Pearl Harbor. They ended up with Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Iran might want to brush up on history.
It’s obvious they have not read the Christian Bible:
Luke 23:34
But we won’t.
rwood
ALL of it???
Both boats???
Should they manage to pull off capturing another of our gunboats, where would they take it with all their naval bases bombed to gravel?
Trump ain't obama.
Seems like the same logic that justified killing Solemaini would apply to this guy. Why not vaporize him too? What’s the difference?
I guess one thing is he’s in Iran, not in Iraq. But if he puts one toe over the Iraq border, he should be dead meat.
In fact, if we are to be consistent, any Iranian military personnel in Iraq should be considered fair game.
Yes, yes they do. I wish I was kidding.
Taking out key individuals will not change the regime. There are others who will take their place.
Not just their navy. Every thing that floats, and every harbor they have. Then onto everything that flies, and then every crossroad and bridge. Every refinery. Tell the people they can thank their Ayatolla.
Unlimited? No, but there is no one who is indispensable. The replacement may not be as good, but the policies of the mullahs have not changed. He will carry out the policies using the same organizational structure and surrogates.
