All those “Death to America” and “Great Satan” rallies didn’t clue you in before this?

We are already in a quagmire there, between failed diplomacy of Carter and sparatic but ineffective shows of strength. And Senator Paul knows this as well. The senator has been one of President Trump's strongest supporters and is simply going on record as saying, "Let's follow the Constitution" which has consistently been Paul's position on every issue.

Oh so true. There just are not many Constitutional Conservative around any more. The NeoCon influence in the WH is alive and kicking.

No. Two so-called diplomats are dead.
To: RandFan
Rand, diplomacy in the middle east died when Jimmy Carter allowed the Iranian Thugs to take over our embassy and personnel for a year.

I’m very glad DJT is our prez., and not R.P. The guy is as off as his old man.

Do you recall the aftermath of the Vietnam cut and run? The millions of deaths, the shambles of American foreign policy, the Soviets running amok world wide? Do you recall how Nixon had nearly completed the Vietnamization and how we were nearly out with a relatively stable Indochina? As wrong as our presence in Iraq is, as Trump has said for years, there is a right and a wrong way out.

I like him a lot. He puts the Constitution and the Country first. The Middle East is a no win situation for any President.
Unfortunately, the Kenyan made winning there much harder with his treachery. So now, the next President has to deal with a more emboldened enemy there.

yeah well, maybe if we just send them over some money...
like obama did right rand?
wtf are you thinking?
To: RandFan
Diplomacy was dead in the Middle East when Obama and Kerry gave away $1.5 billion in taxpayers' money to Iran in the middle of the night for them to stop their nuclear program.
There's a new sheriff in town and he's doing things differently than the last bunch of appeasers in the Obama administration.
Muslims feed on weakness. The only thing they understand is strength.
President Trump is showing them strength.

"To accuse Rand Paul of cheerleading for American deaths is disgraceful and contemptible." Indeed. Oh that we had more Constitutional Conservatives representing us.
And oh that we had more citizens claiming to be Conservative that understood and appreciated the Constitution as Senator Paul does.

[Oh, bullsh*t. Senator Paul is simply saying we need to follow the Constitution. “Follow the Constitution” has consistently been Paul’s steadfast answer to every position.]
Trump is following the Constitution. No less an authority than Thomas Jefferson had operations conducted against the Barbary States without a declaration of war. Let me suggest that Jefferson, a guy who literally had a hand in writing the Constitution, has a better handle on it than Rand Paul ever will in ten lifetimes:
