De Blasio made an earlier statement about the airstrike, saying he's worried about New York City and the U.S. as a whole.
Without the approval of Congress, the US Government effectively declared war on Iran tonight, De Blasio tweeted. The American people had no say in the matter, despite voting time + again to stop endless wars + bring our troops home. This one will not end soon.
The Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement after the attack, saying they are monitoring the events in Iran.

Pffft!! And yet, the borders are wide open.
The inept failed presidential candidate weighs in on foreign policy.
Let them do their worst. They already have agents in the US, but DJT bats cleanup at the bottom of the inning.
Gee, why would that be? Afraid there might be a few agent provocateurs (sp?) in your midst, deBlahblahblah? Where did THEY come from?
We havent heard from Sir Andrew yet.
The threat has been here for a long time. deblobio and bammy made it worse.
We will have to be vigilant against this threat for a long time to come,
This is rat code for: That irresponsible madman in the White House has endangered our country by murdering a revered leader.
Perhaps by canceling your moronic Sanctuary City policies?
Terrorists love them...
Knock it off with the spamming.
They’re more likely to try to attack the Israelis, or to assassinate Trump. By “they”, I mean the Iranian government, or their allies in the US.
Without the approval of Congress, the US Government effectively declared war on Iran tonight, De Blasio tweeted.
What a demagogue! This has been war. This started way before 2001. Do you think Iran or any of these Muslim countries aren’t at war with us? Attacking our embassy is an attack on American soil. It’s an act of war as much as the attack on NYC on 9-11.
Hey Warren, if you are worried about public safety, perhaps you could get together with Andy Cueball and rescind the idiotic “no bail” law that is putting rapists, murderers, attackers and assorted other criminals back on the street to cause more mayhem.
Didn’t think so.
LOL!
So why would Iran “attack” their biggest fans?
That’s why I love that I dont take news cycles seriously. It is hilarious watching people try to be “part of the story” by doing goofy stunts that are meaningless.
Like go protect the jewish people in Brooklyn, mayor.
I hope DC increases security...I work here!!!
RE: So why would Iran attack their biggest fans?
These “fans” want to appease and feed the crocodile hoping that it won’t eat them at all without realizing that the crocodile does not distinguish between sympathizers and non-sympathizers.
The one time I was there in 2005, I seriously wondered if anyone could use the bathroom and not be watched, the place was so guarded.
De Blasio wants to do whatever he can to make it happen.
