Armed citizens may not stop most murders...

That is the part I disagree with. The author states that as a fact, when it's merely his opinion.

It's the "we" in his statement that creates a sweeping generality that just is not true.

Only takes one with a good shot pattern and the will to do it.

My late husband enlisted when he got his draft notice as no one was hiring his age group. Went USAF and he was the only 1 in his unit with gun knowledge. Made Marksman award all 4 yrs. His shot pattern was the size of your heart. He was a Farm boy who if he didn’t kill those rabbits and squirrels they had no meat for the table. Sgt in 4 yrs.
