"The death of Soleimani is devastating to the regime. No man is irreplaceable, but he comes close given his two decades of operational experience and regional dominance," Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told the Washington Examiner.
In a Twitter post, Dubowitz said Soleimani's death would be bigger than that of Osama bin Laden and ISIS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi. .

Following the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, Soleimani and his unit supported Iraq's Shiite Muslim insurgency. Iran provided the particularly lethal explosively formed penetrators to insurgent groups, a weapon which was capable of penetrating U.S. armor. The Pentagon has attributed at least 500 deaths to Iranian influence during this time.

Sulaimani & Co killed today were active threats, high value because they were, are, and will cause serious harm to our people & interests.
...
Did they have the Iraqi government’s permission to be in the country?
(Dubowitz’ quote is re: Trump)
That is like posting ‘Yamamoto’s death a grievous blow to Japan. (With apologies to the admiral's shade.) But donkey congressrats are making much howl over this
grave escalation’.
Bin laden hit was a lie, so this is probably top of the shelf.
Watch Trump’s speech to the troops in Afghanistan at Thanksgiving. Next guy is thinking maybe he should run a store instead.
Was he in Bagdad when he was killed?
Bagdad is in IRAQ.
WHAT WAS HE DOING THERE??????
The Democrats and their media minions are attacking President Trump for this. That’s definitive proof that this death is a major success for America.
This guy has needed killing for years.
Proving that Benghazi was no fluke. "Every man for himself" is a Democrat policy.
Non-sequitur.
Sends a good message to Rocket Man, too.
EXACTLY. This is the message.
Maybe they'll say the guy was running for President of Iran and therefore it was illegal to target him.

Here’s your Iranian deal from a real president. No pallets of cash.
GOOD POINT.
EMPs killed 500 or more US Soldiers but maimed about 20 times that many and Iran is responsible. This copper plates were, and are still to this day, manufactured in Iran and the teaching and technology was continually smuggled into Iraq and also Afghanistan.
I pray I live to see Iran a smoking hole. If Reagan had been President during the Iranian embassy takeover they would still be in the pre stone age.
Ans the world would be a better place.
I have no problem with your statement. I thought you might know.
