I believe Quds is Islamic Arabic for Jerusalem. I remember watching a speech in Arabic by Brennan to a pan Arab group where he referred to Jerusalem by calling it Quds. The symbolic name for the Iranian group headed bte late Sulamania was to send the message the mullahs would conquer Jerusalem.
