In a tweet responding to a Christian Post editorial, Moore, the 62-year-old founder of Living Proof Ministries, identified 2016 as the year the movement “passed away.”
The Christian Post editorial was responding to Christianity Today’s support for President Donald Trump’s impeachment and removal from office; The Christian Post piece blasted “Christian elitism” and the spirit of the Christianity Today editorial.
The idea that evangelical Christian voters choosing Trump over Hillary Clinton somehow killed evangelicalism is patently absurd, as if they would have been better off voting for a person and a party that had absolute contempt for them and their values.

This is what we are seeing with President Trump. He was brought up right. As an young adult, with his great success and good looks, beautiful women became a great temptation for him. But now he is old, and he is embracing the values and beliefs of his parents. He is a sinner and as fallen short of the glory of God, but fortunately he has a savior who has paid for his sins on the cross and so Donald Trump is covered with the righteousness of God. God has raised him up to deal with the evil that has overtaken this country. His only sin in this, I think is timidity in dealing with these evil entities pretending to be people.
If he were not a believer he could not withstand what has been thrown at him.

I’m no fan of that Joyce Meyer, either. They both strike me as false prophets.
Which many do, unfortunately. This is why false teachers get away with so much deceit. People never really check them out, there’s no discernment.
I recall an SBC church we attended for a few months had that Beth Moore cult thing goin’ on. We left for an independent Baptist church.
