I read his article yesterday. Good for him that he finally realized that nothing would really change, even after all the hormones, surgery and acting.

I was also struck that no where in his detailed article did he mention how devastating and destructive all this ‘finding himself’ must have been to his wife and child.
Even now, it is his inner spirit and ego that are his first priority, not the well being of his wife or child.
So, in this way, he didn’t really change at all.

Agreed, I think we are have a crisis of self in society now, we might pay lip service through our 10% tiding, or some sort of volunteering, but we are a very selfish and self gratifying society and have forgot a very significant life lesson, happiness comes from serving others, not from serving one’s self.

He said he was mentally ill and has borderline personality disorder, he probably also has some narcisitic traits and yes it has been all about him.

Most mental illness is all about the person whom it affects.
