The year 2019 has expired, along with Kim Jong Un’s promise/threat to send President Donald Trump “a Christmas gift” by the end of the year. Since the proffered holiday present was tied to North Korea’s demand that Washington lift sanctions for its nuclear program, it was widely interpreted by U.S. experts to portend an escalation in the negotiations standoff, such as a new long-range missile launch or even a nuclear test.
As Gift Day approached, Pyongyang increased its warnings with escalating rhetoric harkening back to the personal insult stage of the early Trump administration. Western concerns and tensions mounted amid preparations for a likely dramatic event and an appropriate response.
But it is now the last day of the year, and nothing untoward has been heard, seen, or detected from North Korea. Now the experts are asking why. What changed Kim’s mind about doing something provocative to get the president to bend?
Pending further insights into the dictator’s mind, we are left to speculate about possible explanations.
One is that it wasn’t a serious threat in the first place, just a geopolitical mind game, a gigantic bluff to panic the politically-beleaguered administration into lifting sanctions.

Or that the "reporters" are idiots and read far far more into this than ever existed.
This is another reason a firm response is necessary in Baghdad. The message has more than one recipient.
Maybe Kim’s “gift” is not launching any missiles.

I simply can’t imagine the democrats being pro-American.
Trump probably sent Kim a Christmas card that has a photo of Kim’s head in a sniper crosshair, and that photo was taken like a few hours before haha. Anytime you want to play rocketman, Trump is waiting.
I read online that a vase is usedl on graves for the dead in North Korea...maybe Trump was giving him a warning.
As I mentioned before, they sent Kim a DVD with digital simulation of turning North Korea into hot molten glass.
Kim hated the ending and asked to view Miracle on 34th Street another time.

First was a nice cloisan vase to senfld to President Trump for Christmas
Second was a less ornate vase that President Trump could send to Korea to put whatever was left Kim’s ashes in

OMG. Can you imagine where our economy and our foreign policy would be if the rats didn’t badmouths the president publicly overseas in front of our enemies? Can you imagine where we’d be if the rats and the media didn’t publicly threaten the President every day? Even if they just criticized in private and kept a unified front? It’s shameful. They revel in glee with any misfortune and beat down every victory. Our enemies receive aid and comfort from the rats and know they can just wait out the administration.
