I think Old Student is quite serious. Frankly I don’t like Trump either. But you don’t have to like him to support him.

Yeah. I may be in the habit of talking to hear the sound of my own voice, because sometimes it’s the only way to get an intelligent conversation around here. I’m not in the habit of saying things I don’t believe.
I have watched the Republican and Democratic parties both do stuff I’d never have believed. GCA 68 when I was a kid. failing to address Roe v. Wade (which I was on the wrong side of, at the time.), Iran the first time, BushI “Read my lips!”, the Assault Weapons Ban, TARP (BushII “they’re too big to fail!”) and quite a bit of just fiddly stuff. Both have failed us mightily.
