Isn’t a pope supposed to be like God or something? If so, then he shouldn’t have to apologize for anything. (There’s a /s/ in there somewhere; not sure where.)

The pope is concerned about his optics.

Does the pope not realize that there are millions of people in this world, especially many of an older age and many particularly from certain cultures, that were raised to believe that the pope or anything that has touched the pope is holy and literally has healing powers and can bring them all sorts of blessings? Why would he be in the least bit surprised that someone would reach out and grab him?
Yes he reacted the way any normal person would react, but he should not expect to be treated like a normal person.
To: NoLibZone
If you watch the video -> she deserved more than a slap. She grabbed him as he had already turned and wouldn't let go.
I am no fan of the Pope ... but this apology was unwarranted. if you're going to apologize, imposter, apologize for the damage you've actually done, not for a light slap on the wrist of a woman who deserved a slap across the face.

That was the real him. He was caught unscripted for a few seconds.

I had no idea who it was that grabbed him ... but immediately noticed the women that did so and “knew” it would be her ... before she did it. Spidey senses. That woman created this incident on purpose. Chinese operative???
To: NoLibZone
Had it been a tranny, he would have caressed her lovingly.
To: NoLibZone
He should have acted like a pope and said "Bless You, child" or something like that but instead he revealed his true nature.
