The “blue patch of shame” is the Navajo Indian Reservation in northern Az and NM with small bits in southern Utah & Colorado. Very few Mormons live there.

There is a fourth option: Constitutional Convention.

Such a convention could pass term limits, & a radical reduction of the Federal government - both essential to minimizing the effects of Leftism - getting the Feds out of the businesses of health, education & welfare, etc., returning these systems to the states’ responsibility. Doing these things would end the monopoly the Left has on these institutions, end the dominance of Leftist propaganda infecting our children.

Without the above convention, both of the authors options 1 & 2 will ultimately fail, leading to a civil war nobody relishes. But with such a successful convention, the Blue states, lacking Federal money for their socialist schemes, will eventually collapse from mismanagement & be forced to return to sane, responsible, limited government. The contrast between prosperous Red states & miserable Blue states will be undeniable to even the most hardened socialists; just ask anyone who has emigrated from the Communist East to the West.

“Utah Mormons are the blue patch of shame in middle America.”

What map are you looking at? Utah is almost all red. The blue you see in Northern Arizona and New Mexico is Navajo Indian country.

I genuinely and seriously believe there needs to be a concerted effort to achieve red state colonialism:

Excess voters in red states need to buy homes first in Vermont

Vermont pays 10k$ for people to mover there. A summer home would justify voting there.

Imagine a blue state flipped and Bernie Sanders out!

Ted Cruz2 Installed as Senator from Vermont.

Rinse and repeat through small blue states.

Republican voters thinking they won’t attempt to force-feed us a Romney or Jeb next time around are fooling themselves.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Unless we get serious about replacing the Bush League Republicans they will go right back to meeting the Democrats halfway on destroying the country.
We weren’t supposed to be able to elect anyone who would side with the citizens and the rule of law.
In context, I found it a strange contradiction. Possibly explained by the quotation marks. And yes, the sentence is Roberts.
“No, it is not. War is always uncertain.”
True.
“Most Generals have been selected to be globalist politicians.”
Unless I misunderstand your point here, you are correct about the Generals Obama picked but those Generals would have nearly no one to command if they are involved at all. The magnitude of dedicated solid conservative patriots is overwhelming compared to these and any in the military that would follow them.
“The left controls most of the information flow.”
And they still can’t find sweeping victory. They control education, big business, the media and technology and their candidate for President still lost the election.
“The left has far more international allies.”
Because those so called Allies have no idea what is really going on in the USA because they get all of their information from the communist media. Most of those allies will follow anyway the wind is blowing.
“The let has a record of destroying a country, rather than accepting defeat”
Yep, like goats in a church congregation that should be removed by church discipline they would completely destroy it rather than admit they are wrong and leave those true believers to prosper. They wish to push there hatred off on joyful people.
The ruling elite intelligentsia only want power and their little minion helpers in the public (useful worker ignoramuses) are true believers who have fell for the propaganda the elites are using even though they know they are lying.
Just like the climate hoaxes. If the liberal leaders believed their garbage they would live totally different lives.
Our Constitution is n amazing document. I worry we loose sight sometimes just how durable that it is.
We are in very precarious times however there have been other times just like this. The patriotic resolve however is easy underestimate and marginalize when it has not been seem in action for generations.
I know you have been around a lot and I highly regard your observations and opinions.
My experience with friends from Brazil, the Philippines, South Africa, and Mexico is that the patriotism in the United States is unmatched which I believe is due to our founding and the unique entrepreneurial spirit that still thrives here. There seems to be nearly endless hope tied to great opportunity.
What do you think?
“That is why voting will be very important this year.”
They will cheat, and very little has or will be done to stop them.
POTUS #13 MF, 1850-1853 - He was instrumental in the passing of the Compromise of 1850, a bargain that led to a brief truce in the battle over slavery.
Igor Nikolaevich Panarin is a Russian professor and political scientist. He is best known for predicting in 1998 that the United States would disintegrate within the next few years. In the summer of 1998, based on classified data about the state of the U.S. economy and society supplied to him by fellow analysts at FAPSI Panarin forecast the probable disintegration of the U.S. into 6 parts in 2010 (at the end of June – start of July 2010, as he specified on 12/10/2008 in an article in the “Wall Street Journal” – “There's a 55–45% chance right now that disintegration will occur. ... One could rejoice in that process ... But if we're talking reasonably, it's not the best scenario – for Russia. Though Russia would become more powerful on the global stage, he says, its economy would suffer because it currently depends heavily on the dollar and on trade with the U.S.” The disintegration would follow after a civil war triggered by mass immigration, economic decline, and moral degradation. He forecast financial and demographic changes provoking a political crisis in which wealthier states will withhold funds from the federal government, effectively seceding from the Union, leading to social unrest, civil war, national division, and intervention of foreign powers.
It wasn’t “a” Constitutional Convention”, it was “the” Constitutional Convention. Franklin’s words were recorded by James Madison in his diary of the events of the Constitutional Convention.
June 2004 :YouTube -Ronald Reagan Funeral: His Final Journey
Video run time = 00:07:37 minutes
Moments after watching the scene pictured above during the live TV coverage of POTUS #40 RWR’s graveside service, Baroness Thatcher stood erect and turned her head to the left to gaze upon the Pacific Ocean. The camera crew switched to her POV and captured the startling sight of the sun setting half-way below the ocean horizon ... and it was that instant, so help me I can still recall the shiver going down my spine, that I remembered Benjamin Franklin’s words at the Constitutional Convention about the President’s “Sun” chair, and his warning to Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia, “A republic! If you can keep it.”
If California were permitted any more latitude as to leaving the Union, it would fall into foreign hands and that cannot and must not happen.
Why do you think it is not in foreign hands already? They are in open insurrection and have been since before Trump was elected and no one can seem to find any laws they are breaking.
Our Constitution is n amazing document. I worry we loose sight sometimes just how durable that it is.
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the governance of any other." October 11, 1798 John Adams
We are neither any more.
I was thinking Mexico or China. Cal is not in their hands because it is still under U.S. jurisdiction in every legal way.
No it can't endure. Walter Williams saw that 20 years ago and it has only gotten worse.
and he followed that up 4 years later with:
The division has only gotten worse since these articles were written.
