The USA is a Constitutional Republic, and I believe the NEA and federal gubmint decided to stop teaching civics in order to indoctrinate our youth in believing we are a Democracy which leads to socialism then communism which eventually ensures misery and suffering to all except the elevated and anointed few whom live in opulence and luxury.
