Coding is not very lucrative when there is no power for the computer. Coding as a profession seems to only be lucrative for those here on a green card. Somehow, we need more coders, but only want to import them.

Read an interesting article today. A lot of ships are converting to LNG for propulsion, including the Chinese. Due to higher costs with LNG, the Chinese are experimenting with a methanol powered ship. The ship is also a methanol tanker. LNG tankers were the first to use LNG as propulsion, using their boil off, which is still the best for an LNG tanker.
Most methanol is now made with methane but it can also be made from coal and building the methanol plant at the coal mine is the way to do it.
Such a chutzpah!
